Based in Philadelphia, Angela Wolf Video is a certified Woman-Owned video production company offering videography and video editing services. We give personality to your brand content by specializing in videos for digital marketing, corporate live events, learning and development, and social media marketing. With over 10 years of experience in video production, AWV is able to take a project from concept to completion. We work with small to midsize businesses, both near the Greater Philadelphia area and nationwide.
About Angela
Angela is the founder and producer of Angela Wolf Video. After completing her degree in Film and Media Arts from Temple University, Angela started her professional career. She worked for several different companies as a videographer and editor, but something bothered her. She noticed that there always was a producer who wanted every project to fit his cookie-cutter method. There was no flexibility, no creativity, and no collaboration. Angela knew she could offer a better expierence. In 2016, she created Angela Wolf Video. Her goal was to bridge the gap between the corporate clients who had a vision and the video team that had the technical know-how. As the producer, Angela works closely with our clients to bring their projects to life. She brings her creativity and years of experience to every one of our project. The Angela Wolf Video team is flexible, growing to fit the unique needs of each client. With videographers, photographers, and editors on hand, Angela is the one who leads the team and oversees every production.
About Our Process
Some clients come to us with a final video in mind. Some clients come with a vague outline. Some clients come to us with just a ball of anxiety. Whether you have it all figured out or video is the last thing you want to spend your time doing, our process starts the same: with a phone call. Our producer, Angela, learns about your company and your project before sending over a custom quote. If you decide that Angela Wolf Video is right for you, then we go into pre-production.
Our all-in-one projects include planning, filming, and editing. For the planning phase, our producer works with you to figure out exactly what we'll need for the project. Based on what you want your video to do - whether that is sell, educate, or connect - we create a detailed plan for production. Some clients opt for additional services such as script writing or content planning, while others come to us with the video already planned out. We assemble our team, hire any additional talent, and create a filming schedule.
Our production timeline is based on your specific video. Our in-studio projects are scheduled by the hour, while our on-location projects are scheduled by the half day or full day. Why the difference? Our professional video studio comes fully setup with all of our equipment before you even arrive. This allows us to be as efficient as possible, only needing you for time it takes to record your project. On-location productions require us to bring all of our camera and lighting gear to you. You can expect 90 minutes of setup plus 30 minutes of breakdown for every location build. A half-day project is up to 4 hours on-location, but only includes about 2 hours of filming.
Editing is where the real movie magic happens. The Angela Wolf Video team takes the footage we filmed, along with any scripts or notes from you, and edits a first version (V1) of the video. Delivery timelines depend on the type of video project, and are clearly outlined in your contract. Typically, we handle editing V1 alone so that you don't have to add it to your mental load. Once edited, the first version is sent to you via review link. The review page includes space for you to leave comments directly on the player, timestamped at that exact moment in the video. We take all of your notes and complete the changes. Your contract outlines how many rounds of editing your project includes.
Once you approve the final video edits, it's time for delivery. All of our projects are delivered via digital download. You will have 60 days to download your finalized video, which is typically a h.264 .MP4 file. From there, you are given the rights to use the video anywhere you want. Your exact deliverables are outlined in your contract before the project begins. Once the project is complete, we love to hear your final thoughts!
